Important notes & traveling tips:

  • The major schedule of the cruises:
    • 03 nights ex Aswan on Wednesday or Friday & few cruises on Monday.
    • 04 nights ex Luxor on Saturday or Monday & few cruises on Thursday.
  • Rate based on the above mentioned number of travelers, in case there is an increase or decrease in the number of travelers or change of date, Egypt Promotion Travel keeps the right to change its rate accordingly.
  • All transfers throughout the entire trip on a private basis by A/C Deluxe Vehicle.
  • All above mentioned sightseeing is including entrance fees & on Private basis in Cairo and joining other guests on board the cruise.

  • There are 2 accepted ways of payment in Egypt:

    • Bank transfer (excluding banking fees according to your bank regulations).
  • Room Types & special requests:
    • Triple Rooms are usually twin or double rooms with rollaway extra beds & not 3 standard beds.
    • Twin rooms or King Size bed rooms are subject to availability on check in date as cannot be confirmed in advance.
    • In case accommodation special request: we can confirm only when we get a hotel confirmation otherwise it will be according to their availability upon check-in time.
  • Please make sure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months prior to the arrival date to Egypt as some airlines set a condition of this minimum validity in order to avoid any problems while checking in to the flight.
  • Weather in Egypt – The climate of Egypt is a hot season from May to September and a cool season from October to April.
  • Dress Code in Egypt – we recommend a proper dress code according to the traveling month. The hot shorts are not recommended especially at religious places & allowed in resort cities like Sharm, Dahab, El Gouna, Marsa Alam and Hurghada.

    Day 01 - Wednesday: Arrive to Aswan
    Arrival Aswan airport.
    You will be met by Egypt Promotion Travel representative who will transfer to your hotel.
    Arrive to the hotel, check-in and overnight.

    Day 02 – Thursday: Overday Abu Simbel – Aswan Sightseeing
    Early morning: breakfast box from the hotel & meet your Egyptologist Tour guide will escort you to explore the amazing temples of Abu Simbel.
    Travel to Abu Simbel by recent model air-conditioned vehicle.
    Arrive to Abu Simbel and visit the temples and take some time to take some memorable photos.
    Travel back to Aswan & transfer to visit the High Dam and Philae temple.
    Transfer to the hotel after this a wonderful day to take some rest and overnight.

    Day 03 – Friday: Dahabiya – Kom Ombo – Gebel El-Silsila
    Check-out from the hotel after breakfast.
    Transfer to embark on the Nile Dahabiya to start your adventure on this amazing sailing boat.
    Welcome onboard & sailing toward a small island for a walk through the countryside.
    Back to the cruise for sailing to Kom Ombo and have lunch on the sundeck,
    Arrive to Kom Ombo and visit the only double temple of Egypt in Kom Ombo which dedicated to two gods Sobek and Haroeris and the temple has double entrances, procession routes and sanctuaries.
    Back to the boat and continue sailing to the ancient sandstone quarries at Gebel El-Silsila (The chain mountain).
    Dinner and overnight onboard.

    Day 04 – Saturday: Gebel El-Silsila – Edfu
    Breakfast onboard.
    Explore the rock temple and the remains of monuments in the old quarries & watching the daily life on the riverbanks & the fishermen start their work,
    Relax onboard to enjoy the boat while it’s sailing to Edfu.
    Lunch onboard of the boat.
    Arrive to Edfu and visit Edfu Temple; where you will see the fantastically well-preserved temple of Horus (the falcon god) and its walls of the innermost part of the temple are completely covered in texts, which actually makes it a library carved in stone.
    Spend the night at a small Nile island where you will have dinner around a campfire.

    Day 05 – Sunday: Edfu – El-Kab – Esna
    Breakfast onboard of the boat.
    Sail to El Kab which is the ancient city of Nekheb with temples and rock tombs from the Old Kingdom where you will visit some of the tombs cut into the cliffs and the remains of its temples.
    Back to the boat to have lunch and enjoy sailing to Esna.
    Arrive to Esna, dinner and overnight onboard.
     
    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

    Day 06 – Monday: Esna – Luxor – Sightseeing
    Disembarkation after breakfast and transfer to Luxor for a full day tour to visit the West Bank (the valley of the kings, Hatshepsut temple and Memnon) & East Bank (The Karnak temple and Panoramic view to Luxor temple).
    Transfer to the hotel in Luxor to check-in and overnight.

    Day 07 – Tuesday: Full Day Abydos & Dendera
    Early breakfast at the hotel.
    Your Egyptologist tour guide will escort you around 135km away from Luxor to visit some unique ancient sites and start with visiting the temple of Abydos (known as the temple of Seti I) which is the ancient Egyptian believed of God (Lord of the underworld) to be buried there. The temple was built by King Seti I, and completed by King Ramsess II.
    Continue to Dendera to visit the Temple of Hathor (Goddess of love and joy).
    Travel back to Luxor after this a long memorable trip and transfer to the hotel to overnight.

    Day 08 – Wednesday: Luxor – El-Kharga Oasis
    Check-out after breakfast.
    Travel by recent model air-conditioned vehicle to El-Kharga Oasis.
    Arrive to the oasis and discover this beautiful Oasis & visit Bagawat tombs and Hibis Temple.
    Transfer to the hotel to check-in, dinner and overnight.

    Day 09 – Thursday: El-Kharga – El Dakhla Oasis
    Check-out after breakfast.
    Drive around 3 hours to the El-Dakhla Oasis.
    Upon arrival; visit there the Old Islamic school, the most unique villages (Qasr – Balat – Mzoka) and the hot spring.
    Transfer to the hotel in Dakhla to check-in, dinner and overnight.

    Day 10 – Friday: El-Dakhla Oasis – The White Desert
    Check-out after breakfast and drive off-road to the wonders of The White desert roses and the arch.
    Arrive to the desert and start exploring the formations and naturally carved sculptures that resemble both human and animal faces, also the formations that resemble the surface of different planets.
    Take some time to take some memorable pictures after that move to the camp to take some rest and be ready for this amazing night under the starring sky.
    Enjoy your dinner and overnight camping.

    Day 11 – Saturday: White Desert – Crystal Mountain – Black Desert – Cairo
    Breakfast in the White Desert and continue your desert tour and discover the Crystal Mountain, and move to explore the black desert and climb the Sand Dune of 50 meters height.
    Travel to Cairo and transfer to your hotel to check-in and overnight.

    Day 12 – Sunday: Full Day Dahshour, Sakkara, Great Pyramids
    Early breakfast at the hotel.
    Meet you Egyptologist tour guide who will escort you to Visit Dahshour Pyramids (the red Pyramids) after that transfer to the “Cemetery City” of Sakkara and view the Step Pyramid of King Zoser which is the oldest of all Pyramids.
    Continue to visit the Giza Plateau: It’s a plateau in Giza, on the outskirts of Cairo, site of the Fourth Dynasty (around 4,500 years ago) Giza Necropolis, which includes the only ones surviving of the seven wonders of the ancient world which are the Great Pyramids of Khufu beside the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure as well as the Sphinx, several cemeteries, a workers' village and an industrial complex and it’s a Cairo's most popular attraction & drawn thousands of visitors every year.
    The Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu): The only ones surviving of the seven wonders of the ancient world & the oldest pyramid in Giza and the largest in Egypt, Khufu’s Great Pyramid stood 146m high when it was completed around 2570 BC.
    Pyramid of Chephren (Khafre): it is the second-tallest and second-largest of the 3 Ancient Egyptian Pyramids of Giza and the tomb of the Fourth-Dynasty pharaoh Khafre (Chefren), who ruled c. 2558−2532 BC.
    Pyramid of Menkaure (Mycerinus): It’s is the smallest of the three main Pyramids of Giza, located on the Giza Plateau in the southwestern outskirts of Cairo, Egypt. It is thought to have been built to serve as the tomb of the Fourth Dynasty Egyptian Pharaoh Menkaure.
    The Great Sphinx: The Sphinx is carved from a single piece of stone. One of most famous monuments in the world, it is indeed a legendary statue for it has the body of lion and the face of a man. lt is 70 m long and 20 m high. The face of the Sphinx closely resembles that of King Kephren.
    Back to the hotel & overnight.

    Day 13 – Monday: New Civilization Museum, Egyptian Museum & Citadel
    Breakfast at the hotel.
    Pick-up to visit the New civilization Museum which contains the mummies of the famous Royal Pharaonic Kings and Queens.
    After that transfer to The Egyptian Museum which is the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East and houses the largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities in the world.
    The museum displays an extensive collection spanning from the Predynastic Period to the
    Greco-Roman Era.
    Continue to visit the Citadel of Salah el Din and Mohamed Ali Mosque (the Alabaster Mosque) which adds a wonderful picture-postcard element to Cairo’s skyline.
    Transfer back to the hotel and overnight.

    Day 14 – Tuesday: Cairo – Final Departure
    Check-out after breakfast and transfer to Cairo international airport for final departure after this amazing vacation and with new friends and memories you had.
