Day 01: Cairo - Bed Only
Upon arrival at Cairo Airport you will be met by Egypt Promotion representative who will assist you through airport customs & formalities. You will be escorted immediately to your hotel in one of our air-conditioned modern vehicles.
Day 02: Cairo - Breakfast
Early morning Egypt Promotion Travel tour guide will pick you up from Hotel by private Air-condition Vehicle to start a day tour by visiting The Famous Cave Church of St. Simon in Cairo There are seven cave churches carved into the nearby Mokattam Mountain. The Monastery of St. Simon the Tanner is the largest and has an amphitheater with a seating capacity of 20,000. It is worth a visit if you are interesting to see something different in Egypt, then visit Virgin Mary Tree in the Cairo district of Matariya is a Sycamore tree that is believed to be holy by Christians who believe that this tree once sheltered the Virgin Mary, her son Jesus and Joseph when they fled into Egypt from the forces of king Herod who had given the order to kill Jesus. Return back to your Hotel.
Day 03: Cairo Breakfast
Early morning Egypt Promotion Travel tour guide will pick you up from Hotel by private Air-condition Vehicle to start a day tour of Coptic Cairo by visiting The Hanging Church, or the Church of the Virgin Mary, was built in the 9th century to ‘hang’ high upon the walls of Babylon. The effect of this ‘hanging’ is now diminished significantly as ground levels have risen around the walls. Deeper into Coptic Cairo there are several other older churches, including the Church of St. Sergius, which dates from the 5th century and was supposedly built upon the site of a crypt where the Holy Family (Jesus, Mary, and Joseph) to shelter during their time in Egypt. Even further back is Ben Ezra Synagogue. This is the oldest synagogue in Cairo, founded in the 9th century on what is claimed to be either the site of the Temple of Jeremiah or the site where the pharaoh’s daughter found Moses among the reeds. And final end our tour by visiting Virgin Mari Church in Maadi then transfer back to your hotel.
Day 05: Cairo – Catherine
This morning will be long journey to Sinai through the Fountain of the Suez Canal which is underwater. Arrive at the hotel to check in and at Catherine Hotel Mara, where Moses turned bitter water into sweet. on the way you will pass the Suez Canal which is underwater. Arrive at the hotel to check in at Catherine Hotel
Day 06: Catherine – Taba border
Midnight transfer to Moses Mountain and climb the mountain to attend the sunrise from the top of the mountain, Visit St Catherine Monastery after breakfast then transfer to the Egyptian - Israel border, to cross to Israel, Arrival at Taba Border where you will be met by your guide and driver to start your tour Drive to Tel Aviv and visit Old Port Of Jaffa, St. Peter Church and Rabin Memorial. Drive along the coastline of the Mediterranean. Visit the city of Herod the Great , Caesarea , to visit the Amphitheater , The Roman theater , and the rest of it's amazing sites.
Day 07: Galilee
In the morning head to Sea of Galilee, tour the Christian sites around the Sea of Galilee, including the Mount of Beatitudes, where the Sermon on the Mount took place, Capernaum and Tabgha, site of the miracle of the loaves and fishes, drive to Nazareth. Stop at Cana to see the biblical site where Jesus turned water into wine, then visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, a holy site where Mary is said to have been visited by the Archangel Gabriel. Day 08: Jerusalem
Drive to Jerusalem. Start our tour from Mount of Olives for a fantastic view over the Holy City and then descend to the Church of All Nations and the Garden of Gethsemane. Enter the Old City of Jerusalem – a charismatic jumble of alleyways, sacred buildings and squares filled with countless sites of immense religious importance to Jews, Christians and Muslims. Walk among pilgrims along the Via Dolorosa passing the Stations of the Cross, culminating with the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, traditional site of Jesus’s Crucifixion. Continue to the Roman Cardo via the Jewish Quarter.
Enter the Old City via the Dung Gate to visit the Western (Wailing) Wall, the most sacred place in Judaism, and the Temple Mount, the third holiest Islamic site. Continue to Mount Zion to see the traditional site of the Last Supper and then take a drive around the new city of Jerusalem Overnight Jerusalem
Day 09: Jerusalem & Bethlehem
Visit Israel Museum and the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are preserved. Head out of the city center to the village of Ein Karem, famed in Christian tradition as the birthplace of St John the Baptist. At the end of the day, head to the West Bank town of Bethlehem (10km / 10 min) and visit the Church of the Nativity before returning to Jerusalem. OvernightJerusalem
Day 10: Dead Sea, Qumran, Masada
Our drive takes you to the Dead Sea. Ascend by cable car to the top of the Masada fortress, built by Herod the Great in the 1st Century BC and renowned as the last Jewish stronghold against the Romans. Visit Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered and take the opportunity to float in the salt rich waters of the Dead Sea before heading back to Jerusalem Overnight Jerusalem
